When you think of having good eye makeup, the first thing you may think of is blending. Having a good blending brush is a must and it's also important how you hold the brush.
Not to do X - Holding the brush close to the grip makes a more harsh line.
To do - Holding the brush near the tip of the handle achieves a softer blend.

Steps on how to apply eyeshadow:
Concealer - Using a flat synthetic brush apply concealer all over the eye lid and use a blender sponge to blend.

2. Set with setting powder - This makes your eyeshadow easier to blend. It also creates a really smooth looking base.

3. Transition Shade - Start applying to the area above your eye that you would see with your eyes open. Above the eye crease. This will create a natural shade. Use a back and forth motion by holding the brush at the tip of the handle.

4. Apply Light Eyeshadow - Place in the inner corner of the eye and apply evenly to the middle.

5. Add Dimensions - Start working on the outer corner of the eye. This will be the darkest color choice of your eyeshadow.

6. Blend - Using a blending brush, blend with a circular motion, back and forth from middle of eye to the outer area, and vice versa. This is to get rid of lines. Keep blending until you achieve the drama you like.

7. Finish this look with mascara or add false lashes.
